Procedural Rocket Fire/Plume Shader
Hey everybody! This is a 100% procedural rocket fire/plume shader made in Blender for all your rocket/sci-fi/space scenes. As shown in the image above, the shader allows you to control the "throttle", turbulence, amount and position of the shock cones/diamonds, the brightness (as an exponential and linear function), and of course the leading and trailing colors of the fire.
It's built to work in both Cycles and Eevee and is a volumetric shader (though since only the volumetric emission is used, it is surprisingly quick to render).
